Basirpur (بصيرپور) is a town in Depalpur Tehsil of Okara District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located around 130 km (80. miles) south west of Lahore.

Basirpur is part of Depalpur Tehsil and is administratively subdivided into three Union councils. Basirpur town is in-between haveli-lakha, hujra-shah-muqeem, depalpur and mandi-ahmed-abad. There is a public library at Rafique Shaheed road near "lachi-wali-gali". There are 3 high schools 2 for boys and one for girls. There are 2 colleges, one for women and one for boys. Boys college is some out side but women college is in between the town. And there are 4 Islamic institutes and some other private and non-formal schools for children. There is a govt. General Hospital.
